Right – here goes – to save a lot of questions –
Fiston Manuella was with Boreham Wood last season and scored against the Urchins on this ground. Prior to that he played for Chelmsford, Crawley, Aldershot, Aylesbury and Hampton & Richmond Borough.
Tobi Jinadu was with St. Albans, prior to which he was with Heybridge Swifts, Aldershot and Bristol Rovers. He played for Heybridge against the Urchins last season.
Raphael Sylvester was with Leyton Orient and Harlow Town, and played against the Urchins last season.
Michael Bowditch was with Burnham Ramblers, and made his Horchurch debut at Staines in the Capital League Cup Final.
Josh Oakley was with Colchester and was very prominent in their youth team.
Scott Grange had three seasons with Leyton Orient.
Joe Bouchard had two seasons at Dagenham & Redbridge.

In a very entertaining match, against a very strong Cheshunt side, Hornchurch, playing towards the windmill end, took the lead when Beaupierre was forced to rush out of goal to kick clear and the ball was returned to RAPHAEL SYLVESTER, who made ground through the middle, drew the keeper, and then calmly slotted the ball home. Cheshunt came back strongly, and Tresadren hammered a shot against the bar. Michael Bowditch had plenty of action, and made two very good saves, before Abrahams hit the bar with a header.

Scott Grange took a pass from Joe Bouchard and sent Josh Oakely away. Josh place his shot past Beaupierre, and the ball then drifted inches wide of the post. Urchjn increased their lead in stoppage time when DAVE SADLER raced through and crashed the ball home. Ross Wall came on at half time for Dave Sadler. Ross Wall almost created a goal with a good run and a low cross from the right which fell neatly to Jake Dallison, who hit a hard shot against the bar. Tommy Steel and Pete Lyall replaced Jack Joy, who has moved up from the youth team, and Jake Dallison.
Cheshunt always looked dangerous, and pulled a goal back when DANIEL BRADFORD ran through and glided the ball past Bowditch. Urchins continued to press forward, with Sylvester heading narrowly wide after good work by Joe Bouchard, and then Tommy Steel turned sharply and hit his shot just past the far post. Bowditch made an excellent save at the other end, and a timely interception by Manuella stopped Abrahams.
